Alexis Wagner-Call has worked for many years as both a Behavioral Specialist and Counselor, supporting the neurodivergent community across a wide range of settings, including post-secondary education, community mental health, and most recently in her own private practice. Alexis brings a neuroaffirming, strengths-based approach to her work and is especially passionate about helping individuals build skills, confidence, and self-understanding in ways that honor how their brains work.
Participants in the ADHD support group are taught evidence-based dating skills through didactic lessons and role-play demonstrations. These skills are practiced during online socialization activities, making it accessible for teens and young adults. Additionally, dating coaches attend separate classes simultaneously, where they learn how to assist individuals, including those featured in Autism Parenting Magazine, in developing and maintaining romantic relationships. Classes are conducted over Zoom for 90 minutes each week, providing an inclusive environment that embraces neurodiversity coaching.
